You mean it only has an HDMI output that sends video to the TV. No HDMI input.
Connect the Roku to your TV and connect the audio output of the TV to the optical or aux input on the HTS.

Is your BD player actually a home theater system with disc player built it?
If you don't have enough HDMI input then add an HDMI input selector with the right amount of inputs.
If you BD player is just a disc player it only has HDMI out not in. Your Roku would connect directly to the TV.

What of your TV? Does it not have 2 HDMI inputs? Most Roku's come with 3 RCA plug.

My player is a home theater with a disc player. It only has a HDMI IN port .. If it had a HDMI OUT port I
think I could run the cable from Roku in to player out from player to TV.

That is correct only a HDMI output. I already tried your suggestion with optical cable and Component
cable. I may have to give up the battle.
The player is a Panasonic SC-BT200. The Roku is Premier. Also have Roku 2.
Thanks for your help.

My player is a Home Theater and it has just 1 HDMI output .It does have optical Digital input. I connected that to tv with no good result. Where would I get a HDMI input selector. How does Input Selector connect
to system.

This Home Theater BluRay Player of yours is a P.O.S. that doesn't play well with others, no expandability, minimal connections, but enough trashing.

Roku directly to TV, then TV optical to HT box SHOULD work. Did you go into the TV menu and told it to send the audio out? This is your ticket, make this work, I don't see any other option for you.

TV has 2 HDMI inputs. Satelite in one, Roku in the other. TV also has a Digital Optical IN port.

Every TV is a little different, but it should be under the SOUND setting.

If you are waiting for precise, do-exactly-this, u may not get it. We basically tell you what direction to take and it's up to you to go through that door and look around. Start pushing buttons.
